Clutch squeaks-annoying
What are some ways to stop this? It's been squeaking for a couple days now whenever I press the pedal in and I already find it irritating.

Re: Clutch squeaks-annoying (ultima.maniac)
is it the clutch (coming from the engine bay) or is it sqeaking near the clutch cylinder just above your pedal inside the cabin? You may need some moly-grease for the pedal assembly in the cabin area.

i had the same problem, and found out that it was the throwout bearing. My clutch was in need of replacement so i got a new clutch kit and included was the throwout bearing. Ever since i haven't heard the squeaking sound.

x3 on the throwout bearing. Too bad the transmission has to come off just to change one little part but it's a great opportunity to replace the clutch and possibly the rear main seal (just for good measure).

Engine bay
I looked around on the web for about an hour and found some people fixed the squeak by removing the slave cylinder (if thats correct, the guide was a little confusing) and lubricating the ball joint with lithium grease so I guess I'll give that a try.
