Cat gone bad?
I need to make sure that my cat is bad... i own a 1994 honda civic lx sedan, i get horrible horrible gas milage about 17-19 mpg!!! when i accelarate between 1st and 2nd gear i hear a loud rattling noise i dont know what it is!! also at times when im at a light or stop sign, i accelerate and the car hesitates to go! it jumps as if it will turn off! its really embarassing. . . also my car is burning too much oil everytime i turn on y car i think its oil or gas spits out from the exhaust everytime ill post a pic tomorrow when its bright outside i really need help i need to fix this problem

Jack up the front of your car and hit the converter with your hand, if you hear rattling in it then its bad, or just unbolt it from the header and look inside with a flashlight

Mines sounded like popcorn when it was on its way out. Do asvthe above post said. Rattling under the car coyld also be a rusted exhaust. Start with the converter.
