Default 92 EG rain water leak at the bottom the right side of the glove box?

My 92 Civic EG Si has been leaking rain water ever since I bought it a couple weeks ago. I have tested it by pouring water on it today and I noticed it only leaked when I poured the water on the roof and did not leak at all when I poured the water on my firewall area. So what can this leak be? Its a strong leak which leaves the carpet of my car soaking wet on rainy days. Can someone please help, I want to fix it today while the weather is nice outside, already have my carpet and panels removed from my passenger side where the leak is. Thanks!

I think you'll need to pull more out than just the carpet from the area.
But do check the seals on the floor.
I had a nasty leak from the windshield area and it would flow down from the firewall.
Ended up pulling the dash to find the source.

There is an expired service campaign the body sealer between panels fails. Google it or take it to a body shop they'll know what to do.

How much do you think a body shop would charge? I do not want to reassemble the car and take it there and being told a price I cannot afford as of now.

Don't know. I think it's the seam actually behind the fender and under the cowl. You could pull that stuff scrape away the flaky body sealer that's there and try some 100% silicone. Or get some real body sealer from an auto body supply shop. Call and see it's probably what 50-75$ an hour and probably and hour or 2?

I paid about 80 bucks for the 3M pro seam sealer and did it myself. My leak was coming from where the fender support is welded to the frame. Had to remove fender to access the area directly below where the hood bolted up. I took pics in my build of the area I am talking about. It is in the link in my sig if you care to find it.

My wife has almost the exact problem with her 92 Integra LS. i would search any and all seams by removing the headliner board, pull carpet back, and have a friend accually inside the car as your pouring the water to help pin point the source of your leak. once found, scrape off old seal and use 100% clear silicone to seal it up again. most time consuming part is accually finding the spot where your leak is coming from. good hunting!
