I dont know if bleeding your coolant would have anything to do with your erratic idle problem, but it can be various things, aree you throwing any codes?

When is the idle erratic? Cold, hot?
When did this problem start?
How erratic are we talking, Honda's have all kinds of erratic idling.
Low coolant may prevent the FITV from closing on time, producing a fast warm idle, and thus an idle surge. The IACV and FITV are two totally different components, do not get them confused.
You most likely have a manifold leak somewhere. Use brake parts cleaner to identify the source of the leak, indicated by racing of the engine as the cleaner finds its way into the intake. Replace those parts, and confirm the fix.
Would not be a bad idea to adjust base idle after fixing the true cause of the problem.
