Those engines (and '96 - '98 Y8s) came with the same manifold. It's probably catless since using that manifold and downpipe with the original midpipe leaves you in a situation where everything bolts up but doesn't leave room for a cat unless you shorten the midpipe.

OP, your car was swapped, there isn't any discussion on this, that car didn't come with that engine in the US or Canada.
Alright. The car was swapped, more than likely from a 92-95 civic. Possibly even the head was swapped. But just to clarify things this pipe was catless. And no the cat was not moved to the back, i took it to a muffler shop so they can put a universal cat and before i did that what i did notice is that the pipe looked like if it was ex si civic catalytic converter(the bolt on at the bottom) and they put a new pipe instead. Why did i adapt a catalytic converter? Because i was blaming it for wasting too much gas and the muffler was too loud on a skunk2 muffler. Believe it or not i was told to blame the motor not the cat and its probably one of the sensors that was causing these problems. Well, i put some new fuses on the car and the d4 started blinking and the muffler did not sound loud anymore. I don't know what i did but it worked.

It's an OBD2 block.

It's out of a JDM '96 - '00 Civic. The head is the correct head for the engine (Y7s and OBD2 ZCs used the same head) Chances are it's the original head.

Yup....They actually did make a y7 with a y8 intake manifold. I've seen it for sale on ebay before.

Ok i know this is new, but i have just swapped the motor to a y7 and i have these error codes with d4 blinking.
P0113
Intake air temperature sensor
P1298
Electric load detector circuit high voltage
P0135
02 SENSOR HEATER circuit bank 1 sensor 1
P0141
02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2
P1753
Problem in torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit

I erased the codes and ran it again and these codes still appear since the zc motor. I have a feeling its a bad connection. But i don't know how. Anybody know what's going on? The zc motor did not have d4 blinking but this motor does. I changed the solenoids 4 times and its still the same and the oxygen sensor. Probably a fuse or faulty ecu?

Why did you swap the motor?

edit: Right.....so there was a hole in the block. Did you reconnect everything the way you saw it? How did you replace the engine, in details.
