Re: Be all end all, how can I put X brakes on Y car (99CivicSiBrian)
Just a few of questions.
I have a chance to purchase 94 Del Sol Si Rear discs conversion for my 98 Civic Ex. I understand I only need to swap the spindles/rotors etc...but will the Del Sol ebrake cable be long enough for my car? Will the Sol rear brake lines work with my car? I currently have Goodridge ss brake lines on my factory front disk/rear drum setup...so I would need to upgrade to Civic Si rear ss braided lines? Would the Sol's MC work on my car too?
Thanks...that is all.

Re: Be all end all, how can I put X brakes on Y car (7808)
sorry for bringing up and old topic...
i got some brake pads and brake rotors (pbr metal masters + brembo blanks)...
for the rears, they sent me 92-95 civic si + 94-95 civic ex rotors rather than gsr components.
will the civic stuff fit on a gsr (1999)?

I've read through this and I can't locate my proposed setup, so please direct my retarded, blind *** to what I need!!!
I have a 95 coupe with stock disc/drum no ABS.
I would like to install the '00 Si brakes that I have sitting in my garage (from a salvage car) and I wonder what I need to swap, and what stock stuff I can keep.
The real motivation behind this is I have a stuck caliper on my front right corner and I need to get it off before it causes an accident or something. It still stops me it just doesn't let go so I'm hot-spotting the **** out of the rotor.
Thanks all!

I have a 92 Civic DX hatch and I just purchased the trailing arms and disk brakes off of a 93 Civic EX 4dr. What parking brake and other parts would I need to finish the conversion?

parking brakes of 92-5 Si hatch work as do ones of 4dr EX as mentioned above and 94-01 Integra!

I am in the middle of doing a rear disk swap on my 95 del sol S. I am using the brakes off of a 95 Integra GSR. The parking brake cable is too long and the heads do not line up with the brackets that hold the lines in place. I beleive the parking brake is different on a del sol than a 95 civic. Has anyone done a swap from drum to disk on a del sol?

Re: (JDM-SOL)
Heres a good one...
I have a 92 Civic (DX I believe)
The guy before me put integra front brakes on it. I got the rotors for the integra to go right in, same size, but the pads dont fit. I even tried the stock civic ones. Is there any difference in the Integra Calipers to accept different pads?...Help Please

Re: Be all end all, how can I put X brakes on Y car
I searched all over this site and many others trying to find the best way to get from my 1" master cyl (12mm fitting) to the prop valve (10mm fitting) and happened to stumble across this little guy. Part # 1053206 at hydraulicstore.com i ordered mine today hopefully this works it looks like it will. With this you should not have to reflare any lines.

Re: Be all end all, how can I put X brakes on Y car (On Point EK)
Looking for info too, can I use delsol rear discs? I saw some at a wrecker and I'm not 100% sure if it'll work. Do I use the prop valve from the delsol? What about a 90 integra? Do I need a new master/booster? I'd like to just put te braket an calipers on and not change the trailing arm.any info would help!

Will 99 SI rear disk brakes bolt right up into my EF? It will come with the prop valve, i would just need to look for the e-brake cable correcT?
