Aftermarket horn issues.

Aftermarket horn issues.
Hey guys... I have a wolo 320-2T high/lone tone horn on my civic... I wired it through a relay but I'm having issues... I'm aware the horn has it's own relay and to that I have my alarm horn honk connect on the horn trigger.
But the aftermarket is hook up this way on a separate RELAY.. 30 to battery with 15 amp fuse. 86 to horn wire. 85 grounded to chassis and 87 to horn.
Horn has 2 terminals any side can be use as pos or neg. Horn is grounded with brace to chassis and termnal connection.. other horn terminal to 87 on relay.
My issue is with car off horn honk loud and clean even with alarm... but with ignition on and running it's low and distorted...
Is this a grounding issue or relay issue?

Post pictures of your wiring job or post a circuit diagram.
You also need to mention what car you have.

Below is the horn circuit for the stock 98 Civic. I see no need for the aftermarket relay. Just attach the Blu/Red horn wire to the aftermarket horn (+) terminal and leave aftermarket horn ground wire attached to the chassis as shown in your hand-drawn diagram. Installation should be that simple.
