whats up honda tech i have a 1997 ek9 and recently it started to vibrate alot wile driving up intll im over 80 mph it stops im trying to figure out whats wrong with it or al least get an idea of what it is so i could take it to the mechanic and know more or less what it is so he wont try to rip me off if any one have any ideas pleas feel free to coment thank you

it could be really bad warpped rotors. or a hub, or even an axle. are you sure it goes away at 80? and isnt shaking at all? also could be something as simple as a bad unbalanced wheel.

but all of those things would still vibrate at 80, maybe not as bad since there traveling faster.

Start with getting the front wheels balanced and then get new rotors and go from there those are the most common problems

Does it shake in your *** or in your steering wheel?

Steering wheel is a front issue, shaking in your *** is a rear issue.

My Civic shakes at 60mph and evens out, I have bad rear struts though.
