Just a tiny bit around the 3500rpm area, like the WS2. With a GSR trans, I sit right around 3000rpm on the interstate, so it's no issue. For 260 shipped, the only cheaper option is a system fabricated by a shop or a $100 eBay exhaust and swap out the muffler for a turbo/super turbo muffler, and hope the rest of the exhaust bolts up correctly.

nope not a one piece exhaust.

they told me the flex pipe will help with my vibration noise and other things i forgot. but i did the research and there are a good amount of benefits for the flex pipe. the flex pipe should make the exhaust last longer because it flexes with ur exhaust so ur exhaust dont just break all of a sudden due to bumps etc. also like i said it helps with vibration which my car drones with vibration due to my engine mounts. so i thought it will help.

at the shop it was 125 but with my package deal it was only 100 more.

and hiflow cats are legal in california. they even state it on the magnaflow website. magnaflow is prob one of the few or the only hiflow cats that are legal in cali. b4 it wasnt legal but now it is. go check it. i just did. and like i said magnaflow states it to be legal
The mounts would have to be pretty bad to cause any kind of vibration noise. More likely than not it's the heat shield over the exhaust, or it's just resonating against something from fitting poorly, or it's really just in need of a resonator. A resonator takes out a lot of drone. Just get a cheap glass pack off eBay or somewhere and have it welded in.

The flex pipe is not that important. When they weld the exhaust straight to collector, it is though... If fabricating a system, it's a good idea also. When welding, the pipe can pull and warp a bit and the flex joint gives a little flexibility. Or if you have a turbo, it lets the metal expand from the heat. And yes, not crack from the motor rocking.

Even with my old exhaust, i think it was stock, well that exhaust made a good amout of droning noise in the car. funny thing is all the noise came from the front of the car. when i asked my friend to help me step on the gas pedal and i was watching my muffler in the back there was no noise. i was like wtf? so i know all the noise is in the front right in the drivers seat around that area. A resonator would help a little bit but thats not the main thing my car needs. i need to fix that droning sound comming from somewhere. which i have no idea.

what is a glass pack? same thing as a resonator? i never heard of it b4, what is the difference? and if i were to buy one what should i look out for?

You think it is from the front, it is prob not bu tthe exhaust, just a regular resonator will be fine nothing fancy, that will help smooth out the drone and sound, but I think Corsa's are know not to drone, and most of the drone is from the muffler itself.

It looks like a one peice to me, You get what you pay for, That exhaust is hacked together from the looks of it. plus there is no resonator. I bought my yonaka cat-back for $150 and it sounds and looks great! I bought it used with about 2000k on it. You should have just bought a brand name exhaust and got it installed.

He also had a cat installed.

This is a case of live and learn, exhaust shops qoute you one thing, and them when you ge the bill, it is BS, I had an axle back installed, and was a pain, I was back like 3 times.

exactly what i was thinking. how do you expect to ever remove anything? there is not one flange in the entire system. they even cut off the header flange...

that should be your biggest complaint. IMO

crap, well now its a little too late but i definetely know more now. i didnt even know about the 1 piece exhaust. now that u made that point it makes me worry if i ever bump into anything. it would be a pain to fix. also if i were to ever change my headers.

the welding tech should have used a reducer from the stock 1.5" at the header to the 2-1/4" you had welded it makes a smooth transition. as you said a big problem if u want to change that header being a one piece weld in. you should at least have had one flange at the cat.

yea, they didnt even tell me they were going to cut my headers out like that. i accutally didnt even noticed until u guys started to point that out to me. either way i gotta stop looking at this so negative. i still got my new set up which i wanted and needed, even tho things could of came out better they still did a decent job piecing everything together. i just need to talk to the shop about my cat and see if they will give me a deal on something else since they switched it up on me. other then that whats been done has been done. thanks for the knowledge guys, been a real eye opener

I was going to say eBay, but they raised the price to 350. I guess I picked a good time to buy one...

At the very least, have them weld a flange back on the header. I'd be super pissed if a shop did that to me, especially if you had a good header and they just trashed it like that.
