Some little progress.

03/02/2013

Bought 120mm LED strips off ebay for 8$, wired it in series with a dimmer switch and an on/off switch, only used one that runs from passanger to drivers side.
Photo is sorta really shitty you get the idea

Useto have a pokemon gameboy card oil checker, it melted off...... LOL
welded on my bracelet chain

Wheel fitment

All i needed was 1 degree more of camber for the rear to move my wheel in roughly 5mm.
Fronts have 1 degree
Rears at 2 degrees

Next set of tires I need to pick up are going to be 45 series, the 50 series bottom out on rare occasion.

Here comes the hate

Picked these up, ended up being 80 shipped.
60mm Neo Chrome spiked lug nuts.

+
Paint does not strip easy even with impact gun
Dont come ghetto wrapped from shipping
Can take off the spikes if you want
Comes with O-rings
I was expecting shitty aluminum, its actually quite durable and does not get eaten quickly from torque.

-
2 or 3 of the lugs had a wide outer edge? socket was a tight fit
A few of the spikes had tiny paint scratches

For 80$ I aint complaining. +1 for sickspeed products

VTEC

After owning and driving the car for about a year, I recently realized my cars VTEC does not work.

Its not the oil level, need a gauge to test pressure (possibility?)
Coolant seems to be fine / car gets up to operating temperature.
Cant pull codes because I dont have a reader.
Some people say cat? my cat is old as F.
It is not the filter inside the solenoid, ***** clean.

If i pass 5600 rpms while the car is cold there is no sound and no vtec.
If i pass 5600 rpms while the car is hot there is sound, but no vtec.

Sometimes when i just start the car and the engine is cold around 3/4/5K rpms I will feel the cars torque pull me back? dfug? vtec at 3/4/5 rpms for 1 second?

Lastly some more sexy photos.

Amplified 6x9's give good mid-bass. Great job so far. I like the way you are building it your way.

The shear lack of torque and hp....but I don't think that's your concern with this car so just leave it.

160Hp is enough for me, also the fact that its the fastest STOCK engine that came with the car makes me want to keep it stock. (Possibly small turbo / supercharger x years down the road if I still have it)
Torque is better than most of my friends cars, etcetc and makes me happy each time i kick it.
Yeah if your useto driving 200-500HP cars then its a different story.

I feel like people on car forums are all about how much horse power their car has, and then you talk to them and its been sitting in their garage for the last 3 years as a project, then they finally finish it, show it off to their friends, and sell it a month later.

Every owner to their own, make your car the way YOU want it, not how / what others people think of your car.

Heres an updated photo of the speakers

I also installed a roof rack about a week ago, completely forgot.
No there is not any roof rack that is del sol specific, i got this at a junk yard, guys said its off a del sol, complete bull as it was never made to my knowledge. / Discontinued.
The arms grip the top properly tho, and the rubber peices sit inside the dips in the roof and it holds.... so f it.
