Default 2000 Civic 2dr...Water in bottom of trunk?

So i know....SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH....welp did that and come up with a bunch of scenarios.

But mine, the carpet is never wet or moist.....and all the others i seen have said theirs is.

No only thing i can see from searching is the rear sunroof drains.

Has anyone cleaned these with just pulling the trunk side carpet and using compressed air too blow it from trunk out the top of sunroof?

Or any other ideas for leaks that dont include the carpet being wet?

I dried it all up before changing my rear carpet anyways, which is why i pulled carpet in first place.

Will check when we get another rain...Thanks

its gonna go back down the drains and clog them. You pretty much have to take the headliner off. IV tried it before, and they got clogged again.

I'm interested in this too, my EH9 has the same problem. I dont really give a **** since my crap doesn't get wet, just the spare tire but if I can fix it I will

Dangit lol...i really didnt wanna pull headliner...u dont think blowing air from the end of drain plug up with enough force will un block it? Or at the very least i can tell if its clogged by seeing if air comes out sunroof

Especially if thats not it....i have aftermarket taillights on, i saw some ideas of it being the taillight gaskets.

But still my carpet would get moist is so id think.

Its supposed too rain tomorrow...im gonna check it again right after too make sure carpet doesnt get wet than dry before i can check

yeah I mean it'l work, but it'l be clogged again sooner rather than later. Its a quick fix. It wont hurt anything though, just not the right way to do it.

I already cleared mine and my spare tire still collects water. My EH9 is full of leaks lol. It's be great if someone could tell us how they fixed this issue.

also, IV talked to a couple people and they said its a good idea to spray the trunk's inside with a truck bed liner.
