I guess it really depends on what you're looking to do with the car.
Are you going to track the car or is it only for the street?
If you're going to track the car - what type of events, how often?
In my experience (not with the HFP for the Civic but A-Spec) the factory stuff does improve handling for the street. At the same time, it doesn't beat you up. It is a quality product and comes with a warranty from Honda. Price aint that bad either.
For the track, you'll probably be happy if you don't track that often. However, you might want something more aggressive if you track more often.
Also, some people like the car to be very low---or have very little or no wheel to fender gap. If that's you, then you wont be happy with the Honda/Acura stuff or with the Mugen sprot suspension ktis.
Good luck with your choice---...just make sure you think about what you want to get out of the product...

Re: HFP Suspension and Sport Muffler (Z4xLSVTEC)
Thanks man....yea im pretty much an everyday driver. Im not going to be going to the track, racing etc. Just looking for some basic reasonable mods to improve handling, performance etc. Good thing about this car is that its already hot......you really dont need to do much to it!!
