All motor or boost?
Ive seen 500Hp boosted k24's out there, and pretty much the same on an all motor setup.
You can do anything with the right amount of money, you should know that Mr RWD EM2 dude.
Kidding, kidding.

K24 block, low compression pistons, 1000cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, K20 head with full PnP, valve job, cams, turbo (probably a t3/t04, .45-.50 AR trim) about 14-17 lbs boost, Kpro EMS, Limited slip Diff, upgraded exedy or ACT clutch.
Plus a couple other goodies.

well they get 800+ hp out of a b series motor, and the k's have more potential so u do the math. they already have near 900whp setups for k's, and this is a retarded noob thread.. the mph it goes has nothing to do with the motor, its in the gearing of the trans. do more research, check out drag cars for stupid high hp that a street car could never use

lmao.
to answer this question, you can get a lot out of the K series. it just depends how deep your pockets are. i'm doing a k24 frank setup in my eg and am hoping for 250whp when its done. i could've done it in my em2, but i thought that would be a waste.

Why would you say something like that. Why do you say K sucks. It is in my opinion and many others that the K20,24 are the best made four bangers.

b17a is a DECENT engine, but in no way pwnage.
as most know its a b16a with i believe a bigger crank, therefore it loses its R/S ration, loses HP, and only gains a few lbs of torque.
Dont get me wrong, i love the DOHC Vtec's but it is no way the best.

Re: (B18a_CRX)
ummm. Joke anybody?
I just knew someone would take me seriously.
In all reality, a k24/k20a2 has got to be in selection. I perfer an all motor, but turbo isn't totally out of the question.

Should I have added /sarcasm at the end of my quote? or
I figured most of you are all smart enough to figure it out that K really does not suck. Come on guys

Re: (funz0rzies)
The amount of power that you can get out of a K is all dependent on how deep your pockets are. I have a buddy over seas with a prelude capable of over 800whp...but then again he has about 15K into his H22. Custom just about everything, LoveFab equal length manifold, huge turbo, etc, etc.
I could see a K with over 900whp with the right amount of money.
But the other question you have to ask yourself is...sure you have all this power, but how are you getting it to the ground. Anything over 350whp is pretty damn hard to get traction with unless you are on slicks.
There is a guy over on 7thgencivic.com with over 500whp on his K20A (boosted of course) and he says that he can only race on the freeway. Other wise its just tire fire for days.
I would say, get your K running, enjoy it. Build your suspension, then if you want more power, add it afterwards. You will be pretyt happy with a bone stock K20A2 in your car, trust me.

any hoot, you should never swap a B into a new chassis honda... its like swappin a carbed d15 in a 2001 gsr lol. Put a K in, drive it, shut up, be happy and hit 8000rpm

This is true, But it has been done.
Dude that had the 2001 EM2 that hit 200 mph had a B. But thats the only (I believe) documented B in anything 7th gen.
Specs: B16A, 11.4:1 CR, Garrett GT3782 82mm, 52 Trim, 0.54 AR, Runs on pure methanol, AEM EMS, Motegi Trak-Lite II,Toyo Proxes P215/50ZR17 195mph+ top speed.
Bad *** car, but just think how much custom fab work had to go into that thing.

Actually, thats an Em2 that needs a wing like that. 200mph, something theeds to hold that car down. Thats why the horridly massive front air dam is there.
I couldnt imagine going 200 and all of a sudden losing control. Unstoppable.
BTW: FVCK RICERS!!!
