coolant flush & powersteering - how often?
How often does one have to flush the coolant / radiator? The service manual doesn't specify.
Moreover, does one have to replace or flush the powersteering fluid? This is also not mentioned of the service manual.

Is posted on the hood compliance label on Canadian model civics. First one is reccomended at 5 years.

2002 Civic Owner's Manual: Replace engine coolant at 120,000 miles (176,000 km) or 7 years. Then every 60,000 miles (96,000 km) or 5 years.
It won't hurt to do it sooner, or more frequently.
All it says about the Power Steering Fluid is to keep an eye on the fluid level, and to only use Honda PSF to refill it.
If it's something you're concerned about, have it flushed.

Can anybody produce a DIY on the coolant flush?
I'm at 123K and I don't think this service has been performed on my car yet...and I'm trying to do all the high-milage maintenence on my car before winter...not that that coming any time soon...but sometime I wonder.
