Car running poorly Need Help!

Car running poorly Need Help!
My car, 05 civic ex d17a2, is running very rough, vibrating greatly, very loud valve tick, high idle 1100 (steady).
On start up it wants to die then rpms jump up to 1100 and stay there with almost no fluctuation.
An important detail is that in the morning of the day the problem started me and a friend were going to replace t belt/h2o pump/tensioner. We took everything off including the bolt holding harmonic balancer/crank pulley off. Then after inspecting it I decided it did not need replacing and we bolted everything back on. Crank pulley bolt was NOT torqued to spec. It was impacted by a very strong impact (IR 2135qtimax) for about 5-10 seconds.
After completing re install i drove the car all day about 20-30 miles untill midnight when the problem happened. I was driving home from a friends who lived 2 miles down the road from me and the car died at a stop light. I got it to start by applying throttle while cranking, i had throttle at almost wot and couldnt go more than 30.
No CEL's
Does anyone have an idea? Im really hoping it didnt skip a tooth, could it be coils?

Re: Car running poorly Need Help!
Coils or other issues causing a misfire would throw a trouble code.
Did you do the idle relearn procedure?
Did you loosen the tensioner on the timing belt?

I did not do idle relearn process, will look into that.
My friend who was helping me said he checked slack thats it, tensioner was never removed or messed with.
He took off the crank pulley bolt and then impacted it right back on but thats it. T belt never came off.
I am lost without any CEL, another theory I have could be a bad ground on the alternator which fried the ecu. I dont seem to have the common symptoms of that issue though.

Thats what I thought I figured it would throw something but i got nothing and there is a bulb in cel indicator.

You could try hooking it up to a scanner and check for trouble codes, but I doubt you will find anything if the light is off.
To do your inspection, you pulled the lower timing belt cover off, right? That means the crank pulley was pulled all the way off. Did the crank pulley KEY get reinstalled? That could account for the vibration... It's tiny and easy to lose.
I wouldn't trust an "inspection" too much. Just looking at the belt can't tell you how much life is left in it.

Well, since you should have disconnected the battery, it will not idle right until you let it relearn its idle.

I dont have a scanner and i dont want to take it to the store to have it checked.
Im pulling it apart now to see if timing lines up and if it does then i will take to pulley back off and look for the key.
I am pretty sure the key was reinstalled, but possibly incorrectly.
The t belt was a honda and the letters were not worn at all, my friend said that the letters would be worn off.
I am going to check timing and for the key and if they are both right then i have no idea.

I have found out that the timing is advanced 3 teeth. I have no idea how this happened, slack is very tight
Also all 4 spark plugs are dark black and smell of fuel
Is 3 teeth enough to bend valves?, it ran like this for maybe 5-10 minutes total
Im going to re time it and i guess i will find out
