Car died at hard stopping

Car died at hard stopping
I purchased a 2005 Civic GX a few months ago and here's my current condition.
It died at a stop light this morning when I stopped quickly for a yellow light.
Recently I've replaced the MAP sensor, Idle Air Control Valve and the Brake vacuum boaster.
It's had an Idle issue since before I purchased the car and with every replaced item the car runs and performs way better.
I've bleed the air out of the coolant and feel I've removed all air pockets.
I've read that one thing that could help at this point is to run the car and get it up to temperature.
Turn the car off and disconnect the battery than reconnect and run the car for ten minutes to basically set the idle.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Matt

Re: Car died at hard stopping
lazlong I did not replace the hose.
I'm pretty sure it's down to the computer reset.
The idle is great until a load is added with the AC.
No accessories on and the brake pedal depressed the idle remains good.
When the AC is on and I brake aggressively to a stop the car dies.
I'll try the reset steps later today.
Please send me any additional steps I can take.
Thank you

Re: Car died at hard stopping
SUCCESS!!!
I brought the engine up to Temperature by driving the car.
I disconnected the positive and negative battery terminals.
I reconnected the battery after about 30 seconds to a minute.
I started the engine and ran it for 10 minutes or so with no accessories on or touching the throttle.
I turned the engine off and the ignition only back on then turned it back to off.
I started the car and drove it around the block with AC on to test the idle.
I stopped very quickly and the car came to a quick stop with a smooth idle.
I parked the car for 30 minutes than drove the car around the neighborhood testing the hard breaking and stopping.
The car performed better than expected with improved performance and smooth idle.
This forum is a great resource and has many extremely valuable techniques.
