03 civic ex overheat/transmission problems won't start!!!!
Was driving fine. Then one day it over heats I put some water in and kept driving. No problem. Happened again did the same thing no problem but this time I flushed the coolant system. Overheated one more time but this time it was all bad. It over heats then the tranny started to buck hard. Took it home replaced the thermostat and hoses. Started up again to fill the coolant up while the car was idle and it just dies out of no where. And a crazy clicking sound was coming from the bellhousing.all transmission lights are blicking. On the dash. What the heck has happened to my car. Please help. Mind you the tranny does not start making the clicking sound until the car key is set to acc or on. But the car turns but it doesn't start.

I figured the head gasket is done. But compression is good. I don't get it. Damn car. Well I'll check the fluid tonight to see if it's discolored. If it is what does that mean exactly. When I did the tranny flush in the beginning of the year, 2012. I used Honda Genuine. I know the trannys in this generation are garbage. Recalls and shady stuff like that.
