Does anyone have pics of a bay that is fully tucked with ps, a/c, abs, and cruise still in the bay?

I think a different colored bay looks great on some cars. The multi colored trend thats starting now is another story I think that looks gross on any car but the work put into them is still very nice.

I thought the pixel bay was still under construction. And that multi-colored **** is horrible.

Engine Harness Tuck Attempt
So over the passed few days I have been missing around with old ecu connectors and engine connector plugs and eventually I was able to get the technique of de-pinning from the connectors.
But the thing is I have been doing the experiments on old d and b series plugs I have yet to try it on a a k engine harness (this is the harness that i will be working on for my motor).
I was just wondering out of curiosity for those of you whom have done this tuck of the engine harness and how you went about re-looming the harness.
Did you guys just depin from the ecu side of the connectors and run the heat shrink then the loom to the engine connectors on the harness or
Did you guys depin from the actual engine connectors from the harnesses itself then run the loom then heat shrink ?
Or is it just a mix of both..?
Also is there any specific wires that you guys had issues with de-pinning on the k harness?
And another thing was I know this is all dependent upon wires that are begin extended or shortened but is there any specific wires that you guys specifically did cut and solder or did not cut and solder due to drop of voltage for ex: the injector wires?
I have this pdf article from hci that shows a way to tuck the engine harness but they were just cutting wires and soldering them left and right, but it didn’t justify if you were supposed to cut all the wires or just some..
So I don’t want to jump into this and make a fatal mistake and have a harness that doesn’t work due to my own fault for not being prepared
Any info or feedback would be great!
heres the link to the pdfs i was speaking of

I can tell you that you would need to re-pin each connector if you were to re-wrap/shrink the whole thing as you cant feed shrink all the way from the ECU connectors as wires go off into different sections obviously....
I'm sure if you can de-pin the plugs on the D/B/H harness then the K will be simple for you. Once you have the understanding they are all similar.

yea hpefuly i dont run into any problems with specific plugs. are you guys making custom charge harness along with the reloomed harness? or are you just making do with what was already integrated with the harness to begin with?

I unwrapped it all and kept the alternator/knock etc plugs.
I pulled out the battery/starter wiring completely.
Then i went and got some 8 gauge wire, crimp terminals and battery terminals from the local auto store and i ran all new battery/starter cables. Make sure you know where your battery is going to be placed before creating these cables to ensure correct length. You could use 4 gauge if you wanted heavier duty cables.
Alternatively i recommend reading www.hybrid-racing.com and checking the tech articles section. There is a part on modifying the stock charge harness. You cut the harness and crimp it together by cutting and re-using one of the old crimp connectors on the harness, hard to expain, you need to read it. This is a much cheaper option...

what i did was just ask buddies for old harnesses that they diddnt need or trashed and also went the junk yards and cut out like a few of the harness that plug to the radio cause they are similar in ways of depinning.
i even tried a few of the harness plugs from the harness from the heater and ac when i removed them for my tuck =]
hope that helps

Jusdm. Your PCV valve is not hooked up. You have the brake booster going to where the PCV valve on the IM where it normally goes. The PCV valve is the open valve just next to the RBC IM on the left hand side. Its just above the alternator.
I tapped and installed a fitting on the karcepts TB adaptor plate for my BB and kept the PCV on the nipple near the PCV itself.
Just some info. Bay looks great though!! So does the BYS.
The only way the clutch line could be better is if you were to run it through the firewall.
Keep it up.
