i'll sell you some 17" racing hart evolution M5000's that were on my old integra ls. they are in mint cond. they come with 215/40/17 yokohama paradas. the tires have 75% left. im looking to get $750 for them. i will try and get a pic on here. thanks,Randy
-Personally i had the 18's and 17's on a integ. and they were both a little too heavy in my opinion.especially the 18's man those are horrible on hondas, lol. 17's are ok. i also had 14's and 15's on my teg and man they dont catch a lot of traction but once you get going and hit vtec your car just fly's.Right now im looking for some black 16" roto slipstreams. something light that still looks decent.
-if i was you .Id BUY MY WHEELS!!,lol. j/k ... i would try and find some 16" racing harts, and drop your car a little more and get a camber kit. get some good tires too!

unless you need brake clearance spend the money on more useful mods or some education

the cars the other guy listed come with 17's because they need the room to clear the brakes, those cars also have a lot more torque than a b18

ok i have that same set up right now, i have h&r sports w/tokico blues and 17's to be honest with you they rub like all hell, i think the springs continue settling and it keeps gettin lower and lower in the front. if anything i want 15s, or 16s. only thing i dont have is the camber kit.

have you ever owned 17z ? if so did they make your car look stank ? probably because you lack style

17z look awesome on integras ... if you want to keep sportin your baby 15inch wheels because you lack beef under the hood .... I understand

Well your opinions are totally wrong ...
... It is an unpainted wings west bigmouth... the whole car is getting repainted
... They are authentic Tenzo R gunmetal SHU4z
... Far from a stunna ... you havent seen my beef ... i PERSONALLY rebuilt my entire engine

but its cool... i like to jump in and drop some fades sometimes myself (;

i'm like the others when they say 17x7.5 lightweights. 7.5 wide provides good traction, plus with 17s u can fit some large rotors and calipers and they still won't rub. try getting the brembo big brake kit with 15's or 16s, u can't fit the rotors in unless they're 17's. when escalades are rollin on duece duece's and 24's, bmw's with 19's and dubs, and u park next to them they just make 15" and 16" look small. now 18" might be too much, usually for show, 17" is very nice. why move from 15's to 16's? thats a 1" increase. not worth it imo unless u get a good deal or unless they're superlight. but i'm not telling others what they should do, everyone has the right to put on whatever size wheels they want. i like 17x7.5, just my opinion.

WHAT!!! since when would or should anyone on this board give two craps about looking good next to set of 80lb dubs or deuce deuce's do you have a Gucci watch too? or maybe you roll thru the club with yo Prada on wearin berberry to swim

lol just joshin but seriously like i said before the only logical reason to put 17's on any fwd Honda would be brake clearance and even then ur lookin at spendin some cash on some very lightweight wheels, 12lbs or less would be optimal. And if i were to ever upsize at all (unless i added big brakes) I would get a set of the Spoon Replica's that weigh 11lbs and would even only get those when the Azenis become unavailable and id get the S-03 in 195/15

the tenzos are ssr knockoffs.

Well considering I can not buy 17" Schumachers ... im a chump for buying authentic Tenzo R shu4z? My rims are not crap... these arent Wheelmax's fake SHUz ...

The Bottom Line
--------------------------
1. I have had countless people compliment me on rim and finish choice on for dark green honda
2. On 2 seperate occasions I had someone take the time to roll there window down on the street next to me .. to tell me my rims looked sweet
3. One of the Acura dealership's car salesmen keeps trying to buy them from me

(considered putting witty line here, but decided on)
you got anything else, you **** ? (;

just joshin? what does that mean? must be new hampshire talk. btw i never said that anyone on this board should care about what size rims they have, i said they have the choice to put whatever size rims they want. ur jokes are weak, and no ones is laughing. what i mean when i brought up the big wheels is that the bigger the wheels u have the smoother your ride will be. that is why bmw's, escalades, and mercedes like rollin on big wide smooth wheels. go ahead stick with 195's, and 15's. im still on my 205/50/15's and i preffer them over 195s. maybe u never tried 205's eh? go look at supras and rx-7's. the wheels that drive are always wide, around 265, 295, 305, all for traction. even for front wheel drive drag cars, wider is better. so go ahead stick with ur 195s, even tho u can fit 205s and maybe even 215's. its up to u. u probably need some 195s and 15's since ur car is underpowered.

Default Re: Opinions on 17's (pabonalone)

well i use both 15s and 17s

my suspension set up is KOni yellow with eibach pros

I use a set of 15X7 (12.5 lbs) Kosei K1 with 205/50/15 Azenis for Autocross and sometimes daily

MY other set is a set of SSR Competition in 17X 7.5 (12.5 lbs also) with kumho 712 205-40-17 Maily as daily driving wheels

I like using the 17s on the street. In my opinion they look good and are light as hell. My future plan was to use these 17s for track events and upgrade my brakes....

BUT the SSR 17s are actually now for sale... IM too darn broke from the holiday season....

If u do the math 15s with 205-50-15 and 17s with 205-40-17 are allmost the exact same size... With my suspension setup and 17s i feel no harsh roads... Actaully riders in my car say my car is smoother with my 17s rather then my 15s for daily

MY OPINION. if u like 17s get them
If u like my wheels get them PLZ
help me pay my bills

Minty... car looks great.

I guess for the people that think 17s are rice then just let them have their way. I have a set of 17x7.5" Volk Gram Lights sitting and waiting for the snow to go away so they can go back on the car. But hey I guess it's rice and so is this:

Now the only shitty part is I cannot buy big brakes to fill my 17s because the brakes have to fit in 13" wheels @ the strip! Damn ****.

i have 17s and i dont really give a **** if u like them or not, having 15-16 inch wheels isnt going to give u 20HP okay, i mean yah they look big on my car sometimes but oh well..i like them..although id rather have 16s so the car would sit a little lower.

i have 17s too, i dun care what people say about them anyways..well not like anybody does haha...but i do feel a lil more pull if my rims were smaller...17s are kinda heavy compared to some 15s...not like i race...but 17s slow u down. i might be wrong-urs is an automatic too..so it dun matter
