Is this window issue normal
When I press the switch and let it go on the drivers side window, it rolls down all the way in one shot. If I press the switch for any other window I have to hold the button down to have it roll down to the height I prefer. I find this very annoying becase right now my drivers window take EONs to roll back up. I'm going to take my door apart this weekend and fix the problem on that issue.
Just want to know if this is a normal thing.

yes for your mystery car this feature is call auto down feature and the other window are not.so yes this is normal. the window taking for ever to go back up is either a binding window regulator or a worn motor unless the windows are tinted and then their is another item to be looked at.

Yes, Honda incorporates that feature in every vehicle they build; that and the lock-out function and the overload trip. it's all about child / passanger safety.
You're going to have to pay particular attention to guide alignment and cleaning out the road &^%*$ from the glass run in order to successfully fix that window binding. It's a more than common issue.
Good luck.

Question! I also know where I can get parts from a 92 Acura Vigor (used to have that car as well). I wanted to make the back windows in my car roll down on a slant like the Acura Vigors. Has anyone ever attempted this? It would look so sick and I'm willing to mess around and get dirrrrrrty.
I'm assuming that I would need to have new glass since it's probably cut a different way.

anything is possible if you have the parts and time to invest. maybe go to a salvage yard but since the vigor does not have a window frame like the accord i dont see how it will work ?

Well. Even if I could mod my back windows to roll down like the Vigors without using vigor parts. I'm going to junkyard and I'll rip door apart and take pictures and whatever I can take from the door. See what I can do. I think that would look so sick on a coupe... Have the front windows roll down on a slant.. Orgasmmmm

since the coupe does not have a functional window you will have a lot of work to do besides the head ache of mounting the motor and regulator.

Anythings possible (I guess), but it will rise to the equivilent of an engineering project and the cost will probably rival that of the Gross National Product.
It would certainly keep you off the street and make for a winter project, but if you anticipate doing this on your much awaited coupe, you may find there's insufficient room between the belt line and the inner fender well to accomodate a ratract mechanism and the glass.
