driver side window......replaced switch and window motor.....i beleive there is a track that the window sits on......when i roll up the window the track seems to skip and not shut the last 1/2 inch or last inch..........still rolls up and down but sounds like the track is skippin......any idea on what it takes to fix thizz izzue? tha would help.......thanks
can you actually see it skipping? w/ the door panel off, just hook up the switch, pull the plastic back and watch the window regulator go up and down and you can see if its "skipping" or atleast see what might be stopping it from going all the way up and down....sounds like work but shouldnt be too bad.. GL
i couldn't imagine it to be that difficult, i replaced the regulator on my crx.. and it wasnt bad.. once you have the door panel off, and he plastic off, you have access to everything... worst case scenario, you have to drive to some auto glass shop and have them take care of it.. most of them actually drive to your location.. or atleast in WA ... let me check the haynes manual and see if its detailed enough. and you can pick one of those up..
