problem with my 92 accord
bare with me. i don't know a lot about hondas. so i'm driving home and my engine suddenly stopped. i still had power and my electrical components still worked (radio, dash lights), except power steering. when i tried restarting it, the engine would try and turn over but it wouldn't. my power steering flid is also leaking. i just got my A/C, alternator, and power steering belts replaced also. i'm at a loss. i would appreciate any help

Well was it doing anything else wierd before this happend??
My Guess is that its your ignitor in the distributor thats gone bad, Its a really common problem with these cars.
Your gonna need to check to see if u have spark,
Ok what you need.. Screwdriver, another person
Take out one of those spark plug wires from the spark plug tube, stick the screwdriver in the end of the wire so its touching the metal, then hold the metal part of the screwdriver near one of those valve cover nuts, ( about a 1/4 away from the Nut) while your holding the screwdriver have someone turn the key (like there trying to start it) and you should see the spark jumping back and fourth from the screw driver to the nut, if u dont see it, you have no spark, Which means the ignitor is bad.. and The price to replace the ignitor it would just be smart to just buy a whole new distributor,
After you try that, reply here and let us know of the results

Re: (standbackimapro)
so you say it tried to turn over but it wouldn't ... does this mean it sounded like it started, but when you stop hitting the starter (let go of the key) it dies again? if this is the case ... check the electical portion of your ignition switch
