Default Opinions on Wheel Spacer's

99 Coupe w/2inch Drop steelies on the front, would like to get a Wheel spacer kit 4x114 so the front is a little wider stance, maybe 5mm @ most i need to measure first But i was just wondering if any of you have spacers and how did they affect your handling etc?

also, i would want to buy the "spacer" and the extended Lug's , the Bolt on hub kit from ICHIBA Doesn't look so safe with the little bolts and Nuts they got going on there..

It will effect scrub radius if the wheels are not offset to match the new width.

5mm is too thin to have a spacer with studs. Usually ~25mm spacers are what come with studs. The clamp force of a properly torqued lug nut will be fine. It's the friction between the components that prevents the wheel from moving.
