My Speedometer stoped working
My Speedometer in my 94 LX stoped working and the d4 light went out. I dont know if that was coincedence or not but I have checked the speed sensor wiring fuses and everything else that I could think of and was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I really don't know anything about autos so I won't speculate on your D4 light problem, but the speedo in my 94 EX went out and I had to replace the the actual speedometer. Not the whole cluster mind you, the gauges in the cluster can be replaced seperately. Did your speedo start to act weird before it stopped working completely?

it still acts all weird. It sits at 20 MPH and bounces when I start moving. But everything else still seems to be working properly

Mine never sat at any particular speed, but boy did it move around really fast! And then, BOOM, dead. Not even a twitch. If you're sure it's not the VSS, I would swap the speedo out.
edit: this seems to be a pretty common problem with the 5th gen Accords. From what I've gathered anyway.

The VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is the sensor responcible for telling not only how fast the car is traveling to both the ECM (Engine Control Module) but the TCM (Transmission Control Module) as well. Thru the ECM it is also responcible for supplying the signal for both the speedometer and odometer functions of the Cluster.
IF you are not seeing a Check Engine warning lamp, the Transmission Functions properly and the only thing acting up is the Speedo, then the Cluster's at fault.
If it had been the VSS, the system would have set a code from the ECM, amd most likely the Trans would have started shifting Funky.

^^yeah, that too
I was stupid when my speedo went out, and the first thing I did was change the VSS without troubleshooting anything. Total waste of time and money.
