Default how did insurance give you for your car?

Well monday night coming home from the gas station an individual thought he didn't have to yield when making a left turn at the light and just tried to beat me through the insection well you guys know the rest i had the green light and everything. Well my turbo project is now gone and the car is a total loss airbags are out an everything. I wanted to know how much money did the insurance company give you for your 95 accord? Sorry for the grammar wasn't my best subject in school and plus im still upset about my loss.

They usually go off BlueBook, so I'd check that for your area.

they generally tend to give you the fair market value for your area for a similarly equipped car. Wait and see what you get offered, then check the local listings and see what you can find. If you find something priced considerably higher than what they quote you, you can try to haggle with them.

Keep in mind, the insurance company is going to try to walk away from this paying as little money as they can. they are counting on people to simply accept their offer. hope this helps, and good luck with everything.

I was hit from behind at a stop light and when i was hit it pushed me into the car infront of me. The insurence paid me for everything that was stock on the car and the paid me FULL price for everything that was aftermarket that was damaged. I would get everything out of them you can! SAY YOUR NECK HURTS!! lol!
