coolant level in reserviour??
just a quick one..
how much coolant should there be in my reservior on my 2002 v6 accord when my engine is
a) hot
and
b)cold
as i am totally clueless about the concept of a rad/reserviour?
if the level is at the bottom cold and at the min level when engine hot, do i need to add coolant?
how much coolant should i be adding?
please advise?
thank you

Since your cooling system is pressurized, when the car cools down and heats up, the radiator will suck in or put back in..whatever it needs from the reservoir/over flow tank. When the car is cool, take off the radiator cap and see where the level is in the radiator.

Under ideal conditions, it will find it's own level. There should be two level marks molded into the bottle body; one marked "cold", the other marked "hot". If it's somewhere between the two, you're golden
