Door Ajar Sensor is faulty
Picked up a 97 accord yesterday. Super great deal and super great daily driver. The only problem is that it thinks the driver door is open and it flickers on and off. It is securely closed and the body lines up right.
So i could live with the light being on but it causes the alarm to go off as it thinks the door is being tugged on as the light flickers. It also doesnt let me use my keyless to lock the car because it thinks the door is open...
Can I pull a fuse, is the sensor easy to clean/repair? What are my options?

Re: Door Ajar Sensor is faulty
You can try to repair the switch but it will fail again. The part isn't even ten dollars at the dealership, I don't think, they have been using the exact same part for a very long time. It is a little black rubber covered switch on the trailing edge of the door frame, near but below the striker. It has one screw for ground and a one pin connector.
