Default 97 Honda Accord Kenwood radio code

i bought a 97 Honda Accord about a year ago. I just changed my car battery 2 days ago. Then when i turned on my car, my stereo system said Code. I dont have the radio code and my radio is locked. i've been without radio since then. i went to the dealership several times, but they said they can't get the code since the car is so old. Can anyone help me out. i don't the serial number. can the VIN work? I can't find some sort of car manual in my glove compartment. i will check the site daily for your responses. thanks for the help!!!

Dealership lies.

Give them the serial number from the sticker on the deck. Go to the parts department with proof of ownership.

As I can see you're new, please learn to SEARCH as this has been discussed more times than I can imagine.

your going to have to take to a kenwood dealer with proof of ownership i.e. not stolen they will charge you for this service as the code is not set at the factory it was set by the the owner...I have reset them before but would need the radio in front of me.
