radio code
i buddy of mine just purchased a used 97 integra from a local honda dealership. well, he was doing some work to it the other day and disconnected his battery. when he was done and reconnected everything, his radio was asking for a code. the dealership was unable to help him with finding it. is there some kind of universal code? if not, where might one find this? thanks!
no universal, so you may be screwed. Try the honda/acura manual in the glove compartment, it may be in one of the sleeves. Otherwise, usually if you bring in the radio, the vin, some id they should give you the code, funny how they didnt when you guys tried the first time.
Its not like people want to steal the acura decks anymore anyways...they should give it up.

You can also use a small mirror to check the numbers on the back of the radio. I had to do this when I lost the code to mine. I called the dealer and gave them the number, and they gave me the code over the phone.
Pull your radio out and look on the bottom side of it. My radio code was on a sticker on the bottom of it. I know, it doesn't make any sense if someone stole the it, but that's where mine was. Hope this helps.
