94' auto trans solenoid probs
i have a 1994 2.2 non-vtec auto. accord thats throwing a tranny code 1, 8, and 13. thats the lock-up control solenoid, shift control solenoid, and baro sensor. has anyone experienced this problem and where are these solenoids located? any help on this problem would be appreciated.

the lockup solenoids and the trans shift solenoids are located on the front of the trans close to where the trans bolts to the motor. each set should have 2 round sheetmetal tubes sticking out with wires going into them. as for the baro sensor I do not know where it is. I assume it should look a lot like a map sensor but be where it will read barometirc pressure so theport will be open to atmosphere.

you can remove the trans solenoids and clean them and the screens and reinstall them to see if that solves the trans problem.

The trans solenoids can be removed and the screens cleaned, you can also jumper batt power to them and listen for a good strong 'click' The barometric pressure sensor is inside the ECU
