Right at the meeting point of the wire going into the connector. The wire has been ripped from there causing me to get a CEL. Is there any way i can fix it without replacing it? I would love to post a picture of it but im illiterate on how that works from a phone. Please! Any help is appreciated. TIA!!

You could re-pin it but, you need a pin tool and crimpers as well as the knowledge on how to use them.

Go to the pick-your-own salvage yard and cut the connector off. Give yourself plenty of wire to work with (at least 6 inches). Carefully cut the casing off the wire harness then solder and heat shrink wire to matching wire color. Re-wrap the harness and reconnect the connector to the ECT.

junkyard. cut the pigtail off with extra length or wire and solder it in with heatshrink!! easy as that

U need hlp I ran out of gas put sum in it started jst fine then tried to go sum place later..wouldn't start Iddidn't hear any noise frm da fuel pump so I replaced dat..still won't start & still I dnt hear da fuel pump..ppl keep sayn its the ecu? Where is dat located? Plzzz hlp

I have it fixed. Thanks everyone. I did end up going to get a few from the pick and pull. Ended up getting it for free. Twisted wires together. No hard start, no mpg drop, and NO CEL!! Mecahnic wanted to charge me $180. I fixed it for free. Wooo! Dodged that bullet. THANK YOU!
