Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
we strapped it to my friends subie wagon, and tied it down with extension cords. (if your from maine, you already know this reasonable means of transporting an animal carcass for pelt.)
Yes, it hit so hard it shot meat out its anus.
Egay one pieces should be here friday
Just for fun =P

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
I hit a deer in the same spot with my sol. didnt kill it, although it **** all over the side of my car.
damage wasnt that bad though, busted up my z3 fender(needed a reason to take them off anyway) took out a headlight and wrinkled the hood a bit. I happened to have a stock fender, my new(at the time) retrofit'd headlights, and a farbon hood. so it kinda worked out.

yeah mines painted carbon fiber ( thank got it only scratched it ) i kinda have a pet peeve about black CF hoods =P
and i did get some butt debris on my door, easily rinsed off.. i broke all 4 of its legs, it had bit off its tongue, one hoof had been pressed into its ribcage, neck was snapped, and as you can see, her caboose is pretty sore
when it wasnt broken all to shizz

ahh, ya, ur tires are too beefy. got the same thing too when i got my 17's but got it for $400 but then it didn't become a deal anymore bcos i had to switch to 205/40/17 as someone said earlier.
roll fender if ur gonna run 17's, if not just get something smaller for now until you get 15's? or something?..

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
okay i checked your posts. you have a 1.5" drop?
205/40/17 will still make you rub. In the top middle of your front wheelwells is a metal tab/bar that sticks down. If you don't bend that up with a hammer, it can tear up your tires when the shock compresses so much over large bumps, etc. (I know this from a personal experience )
You'll rub the inner side of the lip of the front and rear fenders. They'll only need a tinnnnnnnnnny bit of rolling. You just gotta make it so the lip on the inside edge of the fender along the curve of the wheel cutout isn't sticking out into the wheelwell anymore.
I used to have 205/40/17 with my H&R Springs (1.8" front, 1.6" rear drop)

There are no liners in the rear, so you're not missing anything. The rear wheel wells are just undercoated.
On my EK, I just had them trimmed so they stayed in, but wouldn't rub on my tires.
