PLEASE HELP! clunking noise from car
i just got my car back from the autobody shop after 5 weeks because of some front end damage. the right front suspension was damaged along with some other things. the guy at the body shop was an ***...he totally dicked me around for 5 weeks for a job that should have taken 3. when i got the car back the guy said that the exhaust was rattling and there wasnt a way that he could fix it because of my turbo and the way the downpipe is situated (which i think is bs). i take car home and it makes this clunking noise only when making a hard right turn (it sounds similar to the sound of a messed up axle but the sound that i hear is coming from right underneath the driver seat). i took off the exhaust heat shields to see if that was hitting the exhaust, no luck. there is one place that the exhaust might be hitting the underbody when turning but im not even sure. anyone have any idea as to what the sound could be.. it sounds like its coming from under the drivers seat on the right side and it only happens when making right turns...thanks a lot for your help.
