So if I understand this issue correctly, you haven't changed out a KNOWN DEFECTIVE PART because something else MIGHT be defective also but you haven't verified whether it is or not?

That thinking is just not wise. That would be similar to being and sick and NOT going to the doctor because he's going to tell you that you're sick.

Either way you're still sick. Not going to the doctor won't make you well. Fix the immediate issue before worrying abuou what could be wrong

And if it's the hg, your going to have to take off more.
So your saying you rather do everything to pull the head and shave the head then put it back on just incase it MIGHT be the hg. And waste the money

If you think it's the headgasket at least do a compression test. As for the leaky seal you have no choice but to replace it if you want to stop spewing oil all over the place.

Who's saying that? I'm saying that you need to fix the apparent problem. You know the seal is faulty. Replace it. There are other ways to check the integrity of the headgasket that don't require disassembling anything.

Oh. Yeah. I don't understand the thinking that I know somethings broken but I don't want to fix it in case I find something in worse condition.
