Re: oil leak at cam seal? (Specialk)
dont you have to get the cams out? OR either take off the cam gears to get to the seals on the end..which involves putting the timing belt back on.
orrrr are you talkin about the seal on the dist side of the motor?

if its leaking on the timing belt side its not easy and you should not play with the timing belt unless you know what your doing. However, most of the time the cam plug leaks first and its on the other side of the motor away from the timing belt. for that you just need to remove the vlave cover, pull it out and replace it. You may also want to used some Hondabond which is $18 at the dealership. That will halp keep it from leaking again. If the old plug looks ok then honda bond may work fine with the old plug to stop the leak.
