need help on removing engine
I have b16 head on a b18 bottom, I have the head off the engine .
Looking if someone can give me a step by step on how to remove the bottom of my engine I don't have a cherry picker so I'm taking my head off (already done) then I want to remove the bottom to make it easier to remove I've looked around at threads but couldn't find one on removing engine , thank you in advance for the help!

Remove Cv axles/Transmission
Remove any Wiring connected to the block
put a jack under the block and remove mounts
what I do from that point is jack the car way up and remove the block from under the car

Re: need help on removing engine
This is by far the easiest and most correct way to pull an engine from these cars. Taking an engine out/in from the top is just plain old ***-backwards.
Pull the axles and all mounts except for the driver's side and trans side. Get yourself some 2x4 and build a cradle around the oil pan while the engine/car is still up in the air.
Lower the whole thing down onto an $8 furniture dolly from harbor freight, unbolt the two remaining mounts, and jack the car up high enough to roll the engine out from under it. Installation reverse of removal.
