Lucas Transmission fixer...any opinions?
I am getting ready to change my transmission fluid tomorrow, and I wanted to know if anyone has used the Lucas Transmission "Stop Slip" stuff. I sell it at work, but have never used it before. My tranny isn't slipping or anything, but it says on the bottle that it's a good preventative fluid also.
Has anyone used this in combination with Honda MTF in their tranny, and what were the results? I grind going in to 3rd sometimes when speed shifting...and I'm kind of hoping this might help but I doubt it (Every Honda I have ever owned has grinded in to 3rd....My 2 CRX's (1 stock engine, 1 B16a), and my dads 86 CRX)...
Thanks,
jB

If oil needed "snake oil's" they would be included. I wouldnt put that **** in anyone tranny. If its broke fix it. If that **** worked, there would be no technicians. Engine/tranny/tire/cooling system fix in a can is a load of ****.
Be ashamed that you sell it.

The Lucas power steering fluid is great stuff. It's the only product that can take morning sickness out of GM,s rack and pinions. The tranny stuff does not work at all and don't use it in your tranny.
