Gonna hopefully be getting some slicks here in the next few weeks. The car is a 91 Si HB with a B16a all the usuals. y1 tranny w/ lsd and an act clutch. what is the most usual part to break? Axles? Diff? Thanks guys.

Mostly that, but I have seen a few studs break. Not many and not from a stock engine.

Only one way to find out! Seiriously though.........you may walk away without a scratch, but the reality is, if you're going to the track the right way, you stand a good chance something may break! "Rubbins' racin'!" Here's what happened my last time at the track (on street tires, mind you!)

 

ive broken an axle just driving on the street on street tires....so imagine using slicks

 

Yup they always break there or at the CV joints. My friends done it so many times. On slicks especially launch high or axles are goin to start snappin. Have fun!
