Default hx engine--is it vtec?

hx has a vtec-e engine right? i heard from some people thats not really vtec, or is it? so is it worth getting a vtec controller? thanks.

first hit on yahoo if you type in vtec-e. The HX and VX both used a vtec-e engine. I wouldn't waste money on a vtec controller for it, unless you have some crazy mods already and are into DIY projects just to see if it works.

yeah it isn't worth a vtec controller... vtec-e is more of a fuel conservation vtec than a performance oriented vtec
