How do you remove head oil control orifice?

How do you remove head oil control orifice?
I have a new o-ring for the head oil control oriface but I can't get the damn thing out! Is there a secret to removing it? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

naw, I have this tapping tool that is threaded like a screw. Came out like a charm!

Thanks for your reply! I have another question.
The head gasket procedure in the Helms says to remove it, clean it, and cahnge the o-ring. It seems like there is more of chance to do more harm than good. The orifice looks clean to me.
So my question is, do you think it would be all right if I just left it in there with out changeing the o-ring? What are the potential effects?
BTW, to remove it, do you put a srew in the small hole towards the bottom of the orifice?

I think it's like a M6x1.00 bolt that you thread into the orifice and then you can pull it out.
I can't remember the exact size....M6 or M8.
