How to: Remove the Oil control orfice from the Block?
You guys know what Im talking about? its the oil control orfice in vtec blocks that is sitting flush with the deck. How do I pull that sucker out? I would post pics but I need you to show me how! thanks

take a mini pick tool and pull it out.......or use a screw and gently thread it in by hand a little and pull it out..
there is some resistance from the o-ring so you might have to pull kinda hard. if the o-ring seal is damaged make sure you replace it.

If the orifice has threads, you can use a M5x.8 bolt or screw to thread it in and pull it out.
If not, then I usually just use a pair of thin needle nose pliers and expand them inside the orifice and wiggle it out.

I think I'll try the pick idea, this oil orfice has no threads unlike the 2 orfices in the head! The whole reason for pulling the orifce is so I can replace that o-ring as the book says to do.
