Will someone please tell how to remove this thing? I accidently pushed it in while I was cleaning the surface.

Thanks for your reply! I have another question.

The head gasket procedure in the Helms says to remove it, clean it, and cahnge the o-ring. It seems like there is more of chance to do more harm than good. The orifice looks clean to me.

So my question is, do you think it would be all right if I just left it in there with out changeing the o-ring? What are the potential effects?

BTW, to remove it, do you put a srew in the small hole towards the bottom of the orifice?

thanks

I think it's like a M6x1.00 bolt that you thread into the orifice and then you can pull it out.

I can't remember the exact size....M6 or M8.

they accept the 10mm headed bolts that you'll find all over your car... screw in a few threads, pull out. its that simple.

Kinda like I use a distributor bolt for a rotor removal tool.

How hard is it to find a 10mm bolt to use?

A rivet might work, but why go through the trouble in trying?
