Screw'd up my clearcoat using polishing compound now what ?

Default Screw'd up my clearcoat using polishing compound now what ?

I had 2 scratches on the hood of my '95 sedan and i tried using some polishing compound to get them out and now im left with a 2 1/2" dull spot on my hood, any idea's what i could do to fix it ?

Polisher or buffer at 1500 rpm using 3M swirl remover then finish up with wax. I can get you the 3M part #s if you want.
