P2647 is a code for the rocker arm oil pressure switch or AKA VTEC oil pressure switch. This code is sometimes accompanied by an inability for the VTEC to physically engage, so the car won't rev above 3000 RPM or so.

Make sure that your oil level is full and that you are using either 5W-20 or 5W-30 oil - do not use a higher viscosity. You can try removing the VTEC spool valve and cleaning it out. You'll also want to remove the oil pressure switch itself from the VTEC valve and cleaning out the oil passages with some carb cleaner. Reset the computer. If it doesn't solve the problem, replace the pressure switch. They're somewhere around $60-65 IIRC. Do not over-torque it or it will break off.

Remove the Black Cover, and look at the rear cylinder head on the transmission side, the switch is located there

Item 15 is the rocker arm oil pressure switch or AKA VTEC oil pressure switch

This photo does not appear to match my Pilot. When I look at the engine diagram (attached), the v-tec oil pressure switch seems to be located right above the oil filter (number 15 in the middle diagram). Does anyone know if this is where it is and if I'm reading the diagram right? Do I have to take off the oil filter to get to it? Or come in from the wheel area? I've looked at the top of the engine on my Pilot (like is shown in the picture of the previous posting), but I don't see the switch anywhere on the top side. Any help?

The difference is the front wheel drive vs the all wheel drive. The first is the fwd which is a vcm(i-vtec) motor, second is the AWD which is vtec.
