2007 Odyssey Timin Belt.
Hey all! I will be changing my timing belt out on my 2007 Honda odyssey. I am trying to get all my ducks in a row before starting.
I plan on getting this kit..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Aisin-Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-Kit-Honda-Acura-V6-Factory-Parts-/171540570047?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2007%7CMake%3AHonda%7CModel%3AOdyssey&hash=item27f09d5fbf&vxp=mtr
I also plan on getting these bolts..
14513-RCA-A01 - 1x - adjuster pulley bolt
14551-RCA-A01 - 1x idler pulley bolt
95801-06030-07 - 2X tensioner bolts
90017-RJA-003 - 1x Crank pulley Bolt
I plan on also getting these specialty tools.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Capri-Tools-Honda-Crank-Pulley-Removal-Tool-/261583365880?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ce79566f8&vxp=mtr&
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WILMAR-SERPENTINE-BELT-TOOL-W84010-/281621190053?hash=item4191ee55a5&item=281621190053&pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr
The things I am still wondering about are..
1) Should I replace the water pump bolts also or they should be ok?
2) I have read a lot of people say to anti seize these bolts. And some say to Loctite them. Should I do both? Or should some bolt be anti seize and some be Loctite? If So which ones?
3) The kit comes with cam and crank seals. Should I go ahead and replace those or just leave them? Car has 130K.
4) Does anyone have a torque specs for these bolts mentioned above?
Thanks so much!

I'm going to guess this is your first timing belt job? i understand that "might as well replace it while you're in there" mentality, but don't get carried away. the bolts will be fine. the pulleys, and the seals, and honestly the water pump too, will all more than likely be fine. those bolts also don't have loctite or anti seize from the factory, no reason to put it there now. you're going to need a breaker bar, and a pipe to get the crank bolt out.

while I agree that bolts can be reused, changing the water pump, tensioner and pulleys while your in there. Not changing the water pump means expecting to get 230k miles out of it.
As far as the crank and cam seals, it really depends on your experience level. An older seal may develop a small leak over time but an improperly installed seal can be a disaster. Now once you get the covers off you may find they are already leaking.

you can get 330k out of the water pump. very uncommon for them to leak. the seals are also very uncommon to leak. you go taking cam gears off to change seals, especially ones that aren't leaking puts you at alot of risk to end up with other problems. just saying.

Any updates? Btw, agreed on the comments above about seals, pumps, and bolts. Also, u don't need the special tool to remove the Serpentine belt. There's also a youtube on timing belt removal specifically for 3rd gen Ody.

I did the timing belt. I bought the kit that included new rollers and stuff so I replaced them. To be honest though the old ones looked brand new. I had to be careful not to put the old stuff down near the new stuff as I was taking them off as I might have mixed them up.
