Default B16 or GSR

Hey guys my fun car a 97 EK hatch with a Jdm High Comp B20 might have a bad rod bearing because its started making this quiet knocking and its not the valve train.
Its paired with a Gsr S80 non lsd transmission that's just been freshly rebuilt a month ago.
My question is...
-Should i build the bottom end of the b20 with Forged Crank, rods, and pistons, and put a b16 head on it? or
-Should i get a Jdm b16 engine? or
-Should i get a Jdm Gsr engine?
I want to use the S80 transmission i currently have.
Looking to get somewhere around 200hp all motor RELIABLY for a nice day Daily $3500 is most i want to spend right now.
Want to boost eventually but i don't mind building the b20 on the side for that as i want to get another Honda for Track use.
Youtube my current engine at (Honda b20 Noise Help) if u want.
thanks james
