B16 Crank in the B20??

Default B16 Crank in the B20??

Hi All,

Is it possible to use the B16 crank in the B20 case to build a short stroke, high reving 1.8L engine?

I was just thinking that a B20 is easy to get... and I have a B16... and this may be a way to get the better torqu from more displacment without spending the big $$$ to have my block sleved over sized.

Let me know if it's been done.

If you really want something cool, find yourself the rare B17 crank. When used with a B20A you get a rod ratio of 1.7537 and a displacement around 1.9L. This will give you the abililty to rev high, and make good horsepower and torque.

a b20 will cost u as much as sleeves and if ur doing all that u would be stupid not to buy pistons so just sleeve it stronger anyways
