I just read my manual. It said to turn the car to the off position, and hold the trip button. BUT IT DIDN'T FREAKING WORK!! i kept trying it. How long do you have to hold the stupid button for?!

like 20 sec.

you may be doing it wrong.

1.) hold trip button
2.) put key in and turn to on position (thats all the way to the right, because the S' starter is a button on the left [duh])
3.) wait until light goes out.

I literally just did this right before posting, so I know its bulletproof

heyyyyy it worked. thanks. The honda manual sucks at explaining things. It told me the DLC link was "in the passenger lower kick panel". It told me that to reset my light, i had to put the key in the 1 position (off) and hold the button till it went off. WTF?!! Did something get lost in translation maybe??

No the honda manual said to leave the key in position 1 which is OFF. Key off engine off. Position 2 is accessory and 3 is key on engine off.
