VTEC Problem!?!
Ok so i figured i'd put this here, move it if need be.
Here's what i've got
1992 Honda Accord with swapped JDM H22 w/JDM P13 ECU
so i'm having some trouble with my somewhat-recently swapped H22. It's a JDM H22, with a JDM p13 ECU. everything got wired in. (1 wire from ECU pin a4, to vtec solenoid,-- 1 wire from ECU pin d6 to vtec oil pressure switch, 1 wire from switch to ground)
The ECU throws a code for Vtec pressure switch (code 22)
so the pressure switch got replaced, ECU reset, wiring redone, grounds checked, and still has a code for pressure switch. as a result, vtec does not engage, and subsequently, rev limiter engages @ 6500, instead of 7800 rpms like it should....
i've been over my wiring like 5-6 times, so i don't see how it could be the problem.
i'm a little baffled, and i'm not sure what the problem could be. any ideas??
and the vtec solenoid does work, i wired it directy to switched 12 volts to test it.

i took mine out and put it into a bowl of carb cleaner. it will break up all the sludge inside the solenoid. just leave it soaking for about an hour. brake clean works just as well
