F20b swap
Hi i just got an F20b and right now im attempting to hook it up to my harness. The lude i am putting it in is a 4th gen specificly an s so it came stock with an F22a1 single cam. OK now heres the question i bought a harness out of a 96 prelude vtec thinking it would just plug in. and it doesent. all of my research says that the f20b is obd 1 even though it was made in 98 and it has black injector clips. what kind of harness do i need? i still have the harness that came with the engine but it was cut. do i have to solder on the plugs that wolnt work? i will take a couple pics of my plugs to see what you guys think. Thanks

Re: F20b swap
you will need to modify and use your existing harness. Get an OBD1 distributor(dizzy), run vtec wires and knock sensor wire unless you are running a chipped ecu then you can bypass the knock sensor. probably missed a couple of things but those are the main points.

Re: F20b swap
use your f22 harness. when I swapped an OBD2 H22 into a 92 accord,I used the F22 harness. you may have to lengthen the alternator wires and also use the F22 alternator.
